Mary VanAlstine, MA, LPCC

Mary VanAlstine (she/they) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has close to 10 years of experience with adolescents and children, and a Master’s degree from the University of Saint Thomas in Professional Psychology. Mary is always pursuing more research based practices to incorporate in their therapy, and is certified in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD.

She has experience working with people with emerging personality disorders, complex trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, suicidal ideation and self-injurious behavior, gender and sexuality challenges, and family conflict. As a queer person, they are competent working with folks of all identities. Working with the client to identify goals and barriers, Mary will strive to be a partner and a resource for the client to create change toward their most satisfying life.

Mary sees individuals ages 10 and up.
