Amanda Brunner, MSW, LGSW

Amanda has a Master’s degree in social work from Saint Thomas University. She has experience working in an intensive outpatient hospital as well as outpatient therapy with members of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as people with neurodivergence.

Amanda utilizes a blend of DBT (for emotional regulation) and CBT (for shifting unhelpful thought patterns) to help you navigate daily stressors. Amanda is deeply committed to somatic healing; Amanda is currently pursuing certification in Brainspotting to help clients access and heal trauma that is stored in the body. Amanda openly acknowledges that she is a work-in-progress as a clinician-meaning she will always be honest with you. Amanda is open to feedback and will not pretend to be an expert in your life. You are the expert; she is the guide.

Amanda is married. In her free time she enjoys hiking state parks, gardening, and creative activities. She is a fall enthusiast.

Amanda is seeing ages 13+
